Puaka Matariki is a time to plan ahead for future harvests and to think about the impacts of ocean warming, rising sea levels and ocean acidification on Te Tai o Araiteuru, our local coastal and harbour ecosystems.

Brought to you by Down The Rabbit Hole and the Sandpit Collective, Ōku Moana (My Oceans) is an Art and Science Exhibition featuring a family-friendly flotilla of creative hands-on activities including art-making, demonstrations, workshops and storytelling celebrating the realm of Takaroa-whaiariki.

A full list of daily activities can be found on the Festival website and at bit.ly/2McbIoC.

Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Ōku Moana (My Oceans) is supported by Creative New Zealand.
